RORY MCILROY IS officially a married man.
The golfer reportedly exchanged vows with Erica Stoll in Ashford Castle, Co. Mayo, yesterday in front of friends and family. While the whole area was under lockdown, some details have begun to emerge.
Here’s everything we know.
Adjectives used to describe the wedding include “lavish,” “sumptuous,” “plush” and “no-expense-spared”

There was a heavy Garda presence.
As evidenced by this tweet from An Garda Síochána. We see what you did there, lads.
Among those in attendance were Niall Horan, Chris Martin, Jamie Dornan and Ed Sheeran.
The Sun reports that Sheeran flew to the wedding after performing a gig in Manchester and was “scheduled to stay on site for a few hours for a special performance”.
For what it’s worth, Ed Sheeran is some man for playing weddings. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he explained that he’s happy to play at weddings once he’s free.
Stevie Wonder performed at the wedding and Irish Independent reports that the couple may have shared their first dance to Isn’t She Lovely
Not too shabby.
Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia apparently brought his dog to the ceremony
The Sun reports that the golfer was “accompanied to the proceedings by his beloved pooch”.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Our own Shane Lowry was rumoured to be in attendance, too, but he was too busy tweeting about Munster to divulge any details about the wedding.

Guests apparently enjoyed a 20-course tasting menu.
No beef or salmon options here, wha’?
And the overall budget is reported to have been in the region of €250,000 – €500,000.
*gulp*
They apparently forked out €50,000 for an elaborate fireworks display
Because why the hell not?
Whoops!

Let’s hope Ashford Castle made it through unscathed, wha’?
