THE SCANDAL SURROUNDING Roseanne Barr just won’t go away and it seems that she’s willing to help fuel it.
Earlier this month she pulled out of a TV interview in which she promised that she would explain what she was thinking when she sent a series of racist tweets aimed at former White House senior advisor to Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett.
The tweets saw TV network ABC cancel the reboot of her comedy ‘Roseanne’ and led to a spin-off called ‘The Connors’ taking its place with all of the cast of ‘Roseanne’ except Barr herself.
In a series of tweets back on July 10th, Barr said that she would explain the tweets but would do it herself with an interview on her Youtube channel.
After a lot of thought, I decided that I won’t be doing any TV interviews, too stressful & untrustworthy 4 me & my fans. I’m going to film it myself & post it on my youtube channel in the next week-the entire explanation of what happened & why! I love you all-sign up & get ready.

ppl keep warning me against making my own content because “these are dangerous times” No shit! An artist can be misinterpreted and be destroyed forever despite a lifetime fighting bigotry

I’d like to speak directly to you, the people, and cut out any middlemen who use for clickbait/ad revenue while seeking to divide rather than unite. Please email any questions you have for me at askroseannebarr@gmail.com and I will post answers to my YouTube channel next week.

Barr uploaded a short video to her Youtube channel and in the video, a man can be heard off-screen explaining how he wants Barr to tell her side of the story. Barr then suddenly exclaims;
I thought the bitch was white! God damn it, I thought the bitch was white! F**k!”
The video then ends. It has since amassed around over 290,000 views since it was uploaded on July 19th.
Barr also claimed that she was on sedatives when she sent the offensive tweet.
