This scientist helped land a spacecraft on a comet, but everyone is angry with him over his shirt
YESTERDAY, THE PHILAE lander successfully landed on a comet and it was pretty much a BIG DEAL.
What an unbelievable feat.
But why would we talk about that when we could focus in on this Rosetta scientist’s shirt?
Look at it!

Project scientist Matt Taylor wore the shirt for various TV interviews, but pissed off a lot of people as it clearly shows multiple semi-naked cartoon women.
People weren’t happy, accusing Taylor of being sexist and inappropriate after his team nailed a 10-year, six billion kilometre, comet-landing mission.
Whoops!
