Irish blogger Rosie Connolly was one of those who were greatly inconvenienced by yesterday’s very strong winds during Storm Ali.

The 28-year-old, who is currently pregnant, was keeping followers updated on her Ryanair flight from London to Dublin yesterday afternoon. Before the flight took off, she shared a photo to her Instagram story writing, “Not going to lie… first time I’ve been nervous flying in a long time…” 

In a later update on the flight, Connolly wrote:

Our flight had two failed attempts to land in Dublin. Terrified, screaming passengers, everyone throwing up… Never experienced anything like it. We are now in Liverpool, but unable to leave the plane due to the airport being full. No plans made by Ryanair after 5 hours on flight. No food or drinks given to passengers.

Later on she said that “Storm Ali was out of anyone’s control, but how Ryanair are handling this is shocking. Promised transport off flight 3 hours ago… still nothing. If and when we can leave the flight, we can’t take our bags with us as they won’t release them in Liverpool. 

Rosie added that one woman on her flight required medication which was in her checked luggage, but was unable to access it. After her seven-hour-long ordeal, she eventually made it to a hotel in Liverpool. (Instagram)

At this stage, you probably know all about Lily Allen’s ‘No Shame‘ thing. 

But it seems that even if you are not ashamed of yourself, you can still be embarrassed. The singer was chatting with Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw when they decided to play The Honesty Game. Grimshaw asked Lily “Which popstar have we embarrassed ourselves in front of?”

Lily immediately informed him that she hasn’t embarrassed herself in front of many popstars, but has managed to have about three awkward run-ins with Drake. 

I was living in the countryside and you (Nick Grimshaw) and a bunch of friends had come to visit. I’d just had Marnie, my second baby, and I was like 14st. I’m 5’2, so that’s a lot of weight to be carrying, and you took me to go and see Drake at the NEC. I got ushered into his dressing room, sat on the sofa and Drake came in and sat down next to me. 

He asked me what I was up to, I just said “I’ve just had a baby, and I’m thinking about getting back into the studio. He said, “That’s great. Keep writing! I love your stuff.” 

Then, Drake decided to eat some chicken wings. He offered Lily Allen a wing, and she had to decline because of a diet she was on. 

I said, “No, I’m on the LighterLife diet and I’ve already had my protein quota for the day.” 

Drake had no idea what she was talking about and she had to explain “It’s a bit like Weight Watchers, but it’s a different brand and you’re allowed two shakes in the morning, one in the afternoon and I’ve already had mine. I mean, I’d love a chicken wing but…” The singer said that Drake proceeded to look at her like “Huh?” Before adding that her nipples had been leaking during this entire exchange. (Metro)

Vogue Williams said she would ‘never promote any product for below the waist’. 

The 32-year-old revealed that in the past, she’s been approached by companies asking her to plug products like ‘vaginal spritzes’ , but she flat-out refused to do it. 

I’ve had to turn down tonnes of jobs because they just didn’t fit in. I was offered to do something for a vaginal spritz after I have the baby, and I’m like, even if it’s the most amazing vaginal spritz ever and it makes me feel great after being torn apart by a baby, I still don’t want to promote it. Those sort of things are private, I guess anything below the waist, I won’t promote. 

However, when she began to consider figures, she had some second thoughts.

I don’t even think I could do the vaginal spritz for €100,000. No, maybe I could do it for €100,000, to be fair.

Well, there you have it. If you have €100,000 and a company that makes vaginal spritzes, then today’s your lucky day. (Mirror)
