BETWEEN THE BIG meeting with Bród and Síoda at Áras an Uachtaráin and having their hair caressed by our nation’s youth yesterday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were obviously in dire need of a feed.
Thank you to the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, Mrs Higgins (and Bród and Síoda!) for the warm welcome at Áras an Uachtaráin #RoyalVisitIreland pic.twitter.com/SeDS0LThJ5

Sure, who wouldn’t be after all that?
And Delahunt on Dublin’s Camden Street was the Royal couple’s restaurant of choice.
Why? Well, word on the street is that they serve the best damn food in the country.
Celebrating the Royal Visit on Instagram, the city-centre restaurant wrote:
Prince Harry said to the kitchen when he arrived he heard that we serve the best food in Ireland! The chef agreed, but also said we’re a bit biased.
Our best table for a special occasion! Ready for a Royal service.
So, for anyone only dying to know what Harry and Meghan got stuck into during their visit, the good folk behind Delahunt were happy to spill the tea.
Speaking to The Irish Sun, Delahunt’s manager, Grace, said:
Both of them had our house smoked salmon for a starter served with a Guinness treacle bread. Meghan had a roast hake for her main course and Harry had a sirloin of Irish lamb.
And sorry, but you’re going to have to prepare yourselves for the following nugget of info on their drink order.
They shared a glass of Guinness, and he had a glass of coke.
They shared a glass of Guinness, people.
What an honor to serve The Duke and Duchess of Sussex today! Thank you Harry and Meghan!
If you haven’t yet paid the Camden Street restaurant a visit, you’re obviously going to need a few visuals.
Yeah we know; it’s almost more than flesh and blood can handle.
