Rubberbandits vs Jersey Shore: There can only be one winner

MTV channel is following the terrible twosome from Limerick in four-part web series as they take on New York… and yes, the Jersey Shore.

FRESH FROM SAYING ‘Mass’ at Oxegen last weekend, the Rubberbandits have moved into a new, ahem, field.

The plastic-masked Limerick comedy duo have landed a four-part web series with MTV’s Iggy channel. The series, to be screened on mtviggy.com, follows “Limerick City’s baddest rappers” as they try to take America. “Will their first American performance make them MTV rockstars? The two Irish lads in plastic bags were on a mission…” says the MTV teaser.

Here’s the trailer for their adventures – we don’t want to know what they did to cause THAT grimace on the girl at 0:32…
