RuPaul wished the revellers of Limerick a very happy Pride
RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE host, eh, RuPaul, took to Twitter to wish the revellers of Limerick a very happy Pride this week.
Whoops!

He tweeted: “Happy Limerick Pride! @richanthon“, tagging I Love Limerick founder Richard Lynch in the message. Lovely.
Some people were a bit confused by the gesture, to say the least.

DailyEdge decided to get in touch with him to find out the tea. As it turns out, the pair go way back:
Richard produced Limerick Pride in 2008, following his establishment of ILoveLimerick.com. The latter is an ongoing creative project aiming “to encourage a wider respect and pride for the city by focusing on the wealth of interesting, talented and motivated people who live, work and create here by highlighting everything positive about Limerick”.

As it turns out, the video message was shot on set of the first season of Drag Race, so they’re both celebrating 10 years. Tens across the board, eh?
Here’s a #throwback shot of the pair.
