KATY PERRY WAS not too impressed to see her husband being deported from Japan just hours after touching down – but has vowed that the “show must go on”.
As the couple arrived in Japan as part of Perry’s current tour, the singer tweeted: “I’m so excited! I’m in my favorite place in the world! #Japan”.
Her elation soon gave way, however, after Russell Brand was told he would have to leave the country: “So…my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed”. She added: “It was for priors from over 10 years ago!”
Brand seemed unfazed by the turn of events, tweeting: “Planning escape from Japanese custody. It’s bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick”.
