Ryan Tubridy brought his biggest fan to tears at the National Ploughing Championships
RTÉ RTÉ
ALMOST EVERY INDIVIDUAL in Ireland has a very strong opinion on Ryan Tubridy (which they will be more than happy to share with you after a pint or two), but you’d probably be hard pressed to find someone who feels as strongly about Tubs as one girl who went to the National Ploughing Championships just to see him in the flesh.
Caoimhe from Oranmore in Co. Galway caught RTÉ’s attention by screaming “Ryan! Over here!” She was asked if she was looking for Mr. Tubridy, and without a second thought replied “My whole life.”
When Ryan finally came over to her and offered her a hug, she was overcome with emotion. She told RTÉ “I really only came here today to see him. I’m not joking. I’m from the city, I don’t know anything about farming.”
Easily the most heartwarming moment of this year’s Ploughing Championships.
