One of Dublin's most beloved auld lad pubs closed its doors for good yesterday evening
ANOTHER BELOVED BOOZER bites the dust.
Sackville Lounge, a pub located just off O’Connell Street, closed its doors for good yesterday evening.
Come Here To Me reported the pub’s imminent closure at the end of last month and cited the construction of a hotel on Sackville Place as one of the reasons for the closure.
Customers turned out in force over the weekend to enjoy one final bittersweet pint.
What will we do without its €4.70 pints and extensive collection of county jerseys?
*sigh*
Truly the end of an era.
