Saoirse Ronan talked about the influence of her Irish mammy. In an interview with New York magazine, she said she’d discussed mothers with fellow former child star Jodie Foster. Ronan said:

We were both saying it was a huge, huge influence to have our mothers with us when we were young and mothers who cam from more of an ethical standpoint than a business one. To have someone with you from 10 to 19 when you’re on a set, who has perspective and is only there to look out for you, it really means that you have a more realistic way of looking at this entire world.

Mammies 4eva.

Amanda Holden got booed off stage on Britain’s Got Talent. For singing Let It Go. The talent show judge took the stage after encouragement from Ant & Dec, but met chants of ‘Off! Off! Off!’ as she sang the song from Frozen. Mortified tbh.
