NOW THAT ALL of the hype about Lady Bird has died down, Saoirse Ronan’s back on the road promoting her latest movie, On Chesil Beach.

An interviewer that was chatting with Saoirse and her co-star Billy Howle decided to bring up the fact that Saoirse’s character in the new movie received her sex education from a weird sex manual. This would be a lot funnier if that wasn’t a higher quality resource than what most adults in Ireland had at their disposal when they were kids.

Anyway, Saoirse was asked where she learned about sex from:

Oh gosh. Em… Books, the schoolyard… I think we all got most of our info from, like, the one kid who knew everything about sex somehow. We had a kid in our school, I remember he used to charge us like 20 cents so that we could get information. This is when we were kids. He was like “If you wanna know… Meet me in the basketball court and bring 20 cent with you, otherwise I’m not telling you.”

Saoirse and the interview began to wonder where the little entrepreneur is today. Shaking her head, Saoirse remarked:

I hope he’s safe. I hope he’s well.
