YESTERDAY, PEOPLE IN the US got to feast on a slap up turkey dinner for Thanksgiving, and we were just a tiny bit jealous.
Among those celebrating was actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who headed to her ma’s house for the day.
The actress shared a recipe for her ‘peas with mustard sauce’, which contains grainy mustard (obvs), sour cream, and butter. But not just any butter.
SJP: What kind of butter did we use?
SJP’s friend: We used Irish butter. Delicious.
SJP, somewhat reverently: Kerrygold. Kerrygold!
She’s absolutely right.
Sarah Jessica and husband Matthew Broderick have a home in Kilcar, Co Donegal, and take their kids on holidays there every summer.
She has previously spoken of her love for a “proper fry”, so it’s no surprise that she knows the proper butter too.
Now we’re thinking about toast with lovely melty butter on it. Damn you, SJP.
