Screech from Saved By The Bell plays Harvey Weinstein in a bizarre new music video

This definitely wasn’t a sentence you expected to read today.

A ROCK BAND called TENLo have released a music video for their song ‘Kill All The Things’, which features Harvey Weinstein portrayed by Saved By The Bell actor Dustin Diamond, as he meets a gruesome end.

You can’t help but wonder why on earth Dustin Diamond (the actor who played Screech) would want to alert everybody to his physical likeness to Weinstein, but it’s 2017, isn’t it? Nothing makes sense.

40-year-old Dustin Diamond plays Weinstein, who pulls up at a hotel and is lured to a room by a nun who decides to stab him to death.

To put it lightly, it has been received terribly. Comments on the video read “Pretty much failed on the musical and video front. Time to consider new careers guys.”  “This is terrible. This didn’t need to be made.”

It’s not often I find myself agreeing with YouTube comments, but I reckon the world would have been a slightly better place without this video.

It’s a bit like an extremely tasteless Tesco version of Thirty Seconds To Mars’ video for The Kill, only this one features an alleged sexual predator and zero references to The Shining.

So, the question on all of our minds is what the hell has Dustin Diamond been up to over the past few years that led him to this point?

After twelve years of playing Screech, Dustin Diamond told the Oprah Winfrey Network that he went through his ‘rebellious teens’ in his twenties. Diamond told OWN that he decided to release a fake sex tape for some quick cash after he heard of the financial success of Paris Hilton’s sex tape. Apparently, he used a stunt double and it wasn’t actually him in the film.

Looking back in my thirties, I release that was really dumb. I definitely got some money off of it, but it wasn’t worth what the fallout was. People, to this day, they look down on me.

In 2009, the actor released a tell-all book called Dustin Diamond Behind The Bell.

Diamond was fairly disappointed with how the ghost writer put the book together and says he never got an opportunity to proofread it or give it the go ahead. It did not flatter Diamond’s colleagues from Saved By The Bell.

He has performed with a metal band, hosted the Gathering of the Juggalos and took part in Celebrity Big Brother.

Then, on St. Stephen’s Day 2014, Dustin was arrested in Wisconsin for possession of a switchblade which was allegedly used to stab a man in a bar fight. He was convicted of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon and later breached the terms of his probation and was arrested again in May 2016.

He’s clearly out of jail now, hence the Weinstein music video.

On a more serious note, BBC announced that they’re working on a real feature-length documentary which will feature interviews from Rose McGowan, Asia Argento, Salma Hayek and Paz de la Huerta.
