Here's the performance that saw Wicklow brothers Sean and Conor through to The X Factor live shows

SEAN AND CONOR Price from Blessington in Co Wicklow have been causing a stir at every stage of The X Factor auditions this year.

It’s been a while since Ireland have had an act genuinely contending in the show, but the brothers still hadn’t actually made it through to the live shows despite all the hype.

Last night, they were in Simon’s house and performing for him and Cheryl with it all on the line

Singing their own take on Pink’s What About Us, it couldn’t really have gone any better

Simon and Cheryl were impressed, with Cowell saying:

“That was so good. That’s the best I think you’ve sang”

But they didn’t get their decision straight away – they had to come back for a typically tension-filled elimination process

You always thought they had a chance of going all the way after that first audition, but to see it happen last night delighted their fans
