Everything that was wrong with Sean(n) Walsh's non-apology
SEANN WALSH AND Katya Jones appeared on Strictly Come Dancing’s sister show It Takes Two yesterday.
BBC BBC
It was the pair’s first interview since photos of the pair kissing surfaced last week, and Seann’s now ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries accused him of gaslighting her about the relationship.
Katya insisted that her marriage to husband Neil Jones is “absolutely fine” despite the Strictly snog scandal, while Seann went on to apologise to “everyone he’d hurt” as a result of his actions.

Neither mentioned Rebecca, though the onus was obviously more on Seann, given that he was, y’know, her boyfriend.
Oh, and what’s that sound? Oh, excuses. It’s the merry song of excuses. Being drunk doesn’t negate the act of betrayal, nor does “having fun”.
Neither of them sound like they’ve really thought about their actions or their consequences – instead, choosing to play a merry game of damage control. To not specifically acknowledge the people they’ve hurt shows that – keeping it nice and general shows that the only thing on their mind is staying in until next Saturday night’s show.
Celebrities are just like us – they’re always fucking up. Given they tend to have a lot more at stake than us though, they could do with getting better at apologising.
