A hoverboard salesman crashed his hoverboard at Jervis Centre
THIS WAS THE scene in Jervis Street shopping centre this afternoon.
A CI Ebike hoverboard sales rep crashed into the stand on a… hoverboard. Well, it’s a ‘self-balancing scooter’, technically, and you’ll recognise them as being all the rage this Christmas.
The injured party was taken off on a stretcher, with speculation on Twitter that he had broken an arm.
However, a rep for CI EBikes assured us he’s fine, and was suffering a “few bruises on his body and ego” and is being treated in hospital.

We’re told…
The fallen hero seems to have been promptly replaced, and we wish Hoverboard Sales Guy all the best.
The niu-III and niu-IV self balancing scooters go between €450 – €495, and are advertised as having max speeds of 10 kilometers per hour.
