The Selfie Olympics are back on Twitter and better than ever

It’s back.

THERE CAME A point on Twitter recently when people began to realise that there was something missing.

While the platform was awash with news of Olympians battling it out for gold in Pyeong Chang, the public quickly copped there wasn’t enough selfies of ordinary people doing extraordinary (and not so extraordinary) things.

Prepare yourself for the return of the Selfie Olympics, people.

After coming to public prominence at the height of the 2014 Sochi Games, Selfie Olympics separated the wheat from the chafe in the selfie stakes.

And it’s about to do it all over again.
