This Olympian became a meme when she loafed herself across the finish line to win gold
SHAUNAE MILLER IS a sprinter representing the Bahamas at the Olympics.
Matt Dunham Matt Dunham
Yesterday, she won gold in the women’s 400m, and her valiant efforts to literally throw herself across the finish line has become a massive meme.
Just as it looked like she was going to lose gold to American Allyson Felix, Miller made a dive over the line to secure first place.

Hate dah Felix!
It’s perfectly acceptable to dive, with the official Olympic rules stating that the winner simply has to get their torso across the finish line first.
You can clearly see Miller’s torso is ever-so-slightly ahead of Felix’s upright
Miller’s time was 49.44 seconds, with Felix just .07 seconds behind.
