SHANE LYNCH WASN’T the least bit impressed with Ryan Tubridy played a clip of that infamous Boyzone debut on the Late Late Show.
Need reminding?
Yeah, terrible. The appearance was the first ever outing of the band, back in 1993.
Last night, Shane joined Ronan, Keith, and Mikey on the show to discuss their comeback tour, and he appeared to be in a complete fouler.
He was late to the show, having been stuck in traffic after missing two flights home from the UK where he was filming.
When Ryan showed the clip, Shane wasn’t having any of it.
He was asked what the story was behind the clip, and had a pretty succinct story.
Here’s the story behind that clip. I busted my bollocks to be here. Do you see that clip? You can shove it up your fucking hole. That’s what you could do with that clip.
Ryan tried to say it was only a bit of fun but Shane replied “No, I don’t give a fuck”.
Well, touchy!
Traffic is stressful

Keith saved the day somewhat by saying, “come on!”
We were young, 16, 17 years of age. Louis Walsh had literally put us together the night before. He said the first thing you’re gonna do as a band is go on the Late Late Show. When you’re a teenager like that and you get a chance to have a different career path. We were honoured to be on it. We did what we did, and we are what we are.
Luckily, or unfortunately maybe, Shane still stuck around to perform Love Me For a Reason.
Eh, roll on the gigs.
