8 sheet masks under €8 that I am fully obsessed with
I AM A sheetmask addict. Yeah, I know, 2016 wants its beauty trend back.

Despite the fact that a bit of serum would probably suffice, there’s something so relaxing and refreshing about keeping that ghastly sopping sheet on my face for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep your harsh muds and wishy washy cream masks.
I’ve pretty much tried every single high street sheet mask, and some. You don’t need to splash out loads, in fact, sheet masks are probably one of the skincare products you can skimp on without a massive quality cave.
1. Skin Republic’s Anti-Spot Pore Refining mask – €8, SuperDrug
Skin Republic Skin Republic
This is available, along with the entire Skin Republic range, in Superdrug. Get yourself to Liffey Valley or The Square if your skin is feeling a bit stressed. This mask contains tea tree oil and salicylic acid which in time will clear up any unruly breakouts. Even the act of throwing it on your face seems to ease some of the angrier areas.
I use this whenever I get a particularly stressy breakout, and it definitely tones everything down for me without drying out the skin.
2. Vitamaques Pearl mask – €7.50, Cloud 10 Beauty
Cloud 10 Beauty Cloud 10 Beauty
This mask is a great substitute for the holy grail Sephora Pearl sheet mask. Until Sephora gets the finger out and comes to Ireland, you can make do with ordering this from Cloud 10 Beauty. It’s a highlighter in mask, and leaves a gorgeous glow on your skin after use. Feeling gray and tired? This is your man.
3. PS Vitamin A – €2.50, Penneys
Penneys Penneys
I’ll be honest, I’m not a massive fan of Penneys’ sheet masks. They’re a bit limp and don’t really have enough serum for my liking. However, having forced myself to try them all, I’d recommend the Vitamin A mask if you need a refreshing boost.
These are just pennies, so worth using on a casual night in instead of splashing out for something a little more luxurious.
4. Dr Jart Clearing Solution – €6, Arnotts
Dr Jart Dr Jart
This range of Dr Jart masks give you serious bang for your buck. The texture is almost like silk, and the serum is plentiful. This clearing solution is great for that time around your period when your skin goes to absolute shite.
It contains an antioxidant Glutathione, along with salicylic avid, tea tree oil, and niacinamide. A saviour for greasy skin, seriously. You can sometimes spot these in TK Maxx too for a couple of euro less, so keep an eye out.
5. The Creme Shop Perk Up Skin! – Around €3, TK Maxx
The Creme Shop The Creme Shop
TK Maxx can be a treasure chest of weird Korean Beauty brands. One of the most enjoyable I’ve discovered there is The Creme Shop. They do sheet masks adorned with cartoons and generally have a good formula too. You can get masks to hydrate, calm, and cleanse, but Perk Up, Skin! is my favourite by a mile.
It contains collegen and hyaluronic acid in an attempt to slow down time and wrinkles. If nothing else, it’s ridiculous to wear in company.
6. Boots Ingredients Super Hyaluronic mask – €3.29, Boots
Boots.ie Boots.ie
This is so hydrating, at least temporarily, and usually on special offer in Boots. Again, it’s a nice one to use for a little bit of skin TLC without breaking the bank. It’s my go-to for a chill night in.
7. Nip +Fab Glycolic Fix Bubble Mask – €5.25, Boots
Boots Boots
This is another one that can feel quite therapeutic. It’s a bubble mask so I’d recommend you do it in the bath or similar, so it doesn’t go absolutely everywhere. This claims to help make pores less visible while deep cleansing with charcoal and purifying oxygen. Um, ok.
What I will say for it, is that I use it whenever I want my skin to feel extremely clean after use, but just make sure you use a good moisturiser after.
8. TonyMoly I’m Real Brightening – Around €3, TKMaxx
TonyMoly TonyMoly
TK Maxx usually have this Korean brand stocked in their beauty section or by the tills. They come in a range of different forumlas, including orange, peach, lemon, avocado, and pomegranate. Each have different ingredients and benefits, but my personal favourite is the brightening lemon mask. It contains Vitamin C and genuinely brightens the skin. Perfect for the morning after a night on the wine.
