Update: Irish people ask Simon Pegg for a pint on Twitter... and he responds

SIMON PEGG, NICK Frost and director Edgar Wright are in Ireland today to promote their new movie The World’s End.

As soon as the trio – who previously collaborated on Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz and Spaced – announced their arrival, there was an huge response from Irish people.

First, they received the highest honour Ireland can offer:

But most of all, people had one idea. That idea? LET’S GO DRINKING TOGETHER.

There was stew

People even wanted him to hop on a train to go drinking with them.

And to drink in their homes. There’s  a recession on, after all.
