Sinéad O'Connor a "very happy girl" ahead of fourth wedding
SINGER SINÉAD O’CONNOR has announced she is to marry again tomorrow.
O’Connor appeared on Ian Dempsey’s Today FM show yesterday morning to promote her new album due out early next year. During her conversation with Dempsey, she denied she had any ‘big news’ in the pipeline.
However, she phoned the show back today to say her boyfriend had urged her to come clean and reveal their wedding plans.
Her fiancé Barry Herridge then came on the line to say that the couple would marry tomorrow on Sinéad’s 45th birthday, but declined to say where they would wed.
“It’s a very special place to Sinéad,” he said.
Dempsey later tweeted: “Congrats to them both. And Sinéad’s new album is sounding great too.”
O’Connor said on her website this morning that she she was looking forward to her “absolute dream wedding ceremony” and she is a “very happy girl”.
The singer separated from her third husband Steve Cooney in April after eight months of marriage. Earlier this summer, she launch an online campaign to find a ‘sexy date’. O’Connor posted a message on her blog in August to say that a “gorgeous” man had gotten in touch and she hoped he would prove “a good egg”.
