Sinéad O'Connor writes fourth open letter to Miley Cyrus
SINÉAD O’CONNOR has written a fourth open letter to Miley Cyrus again asking for the popstar to apologise for ‘perpetuating abuse’.
O’Connor initially penned a public message to Cyrus last week, after Cyrus said that her latest music video had been inspired by Nothing Compares to You.
In her latest missive, O’Connor reiterates that her initial letter was written in the “spirit of motherly care” and asks that Cyrus make it clear that the tweets she posted in reply were two years old, written at a time when O’Connor was seeking help.
The Irish singer posted the correspondence on her website last night, and in it she makes reference to Cyrus’ appearance yesterday on the Today show in the US in which the 20-year-old said:

Asked if she had wished she hadn’t responded to O’Connor’s initial letter in the manner that she had, Cyrus replied:
Over to you Sinéad…
