Sing Street premiered on RTÉ last night, and immediately banished the nation's Bank Holiday blues

It was the movie we didn’t know we needed.

After three days off and an absolute scorcher of a weekend, the fear started setting in for most people, and it wasn’t long before we all started contemplating the merits of living by ourselves under a rock.

Thankfully, the folk behind RTÉ’s TV schedule had the foresight to take this nationwide malaise into account, and decided to give Sing Street its televisual debut.
