DONALD TRUMP’S SON, Donald Trump Jr, has sparked outrage by comparing Syrian refugees to poisoned Skittles on Twitter.

The tweet has been met with disgust, derision and mocking (for his terrible punctuation as well as everything else). Trump Jr’s remarks ride a wave of anti-immigration sentiment doled out by his father who has called Syrian refugees a “Trojan horse” in the past.

Hollywood Reporter journalist Seth Abramovitch was among those working in the media who asked Skittles (which falls under the Wrigley brand in the US – it’s Mars here in Ireland) for their response to Trump Jr’s comments, and they came up… er… Trumps:
