IF YOU WORK in an office, it’s highly likely you’re familiar with Slack.
And it’s even more likely that you spend a large proportion of your day pinging messages back and forth with your co-workers, while conveniently ignoring the growing work pile on your desk.
So, when that messenger service crashes and it looks like you might have to, you know, endure face-to-face exchanges with your colleagues, or worse, actually work, you panic.
Don’t worry though, it’s completely natural, and if Twitter is anything to go by, you’re certainly not alone.
Here are some of the best reactions to this afternoon’s unsettling system failure.
I've had to stop myself 4 times from trying to get on #slack to talk about how fucked up it is that slack is down

Slack being down is the tech world's version of Mad Max. A no rules and lawless apocalypse. #slackdown #slackisdown #slackoutage #slack

#Slack's been down for a while and it occurred to me. It's probably taking a long time for a whole bunch of people to work together on a fix, because Slack is down. 🤔
