Smyths Toys is letting 400 of its staff off early to watch the Ireland match this evening
WITH IRELAND SET to kick off their Euro 2016 campaign in Paris this evening, Irish people are scrambling for a way to get out of work early enough to catch the game.
And some lucky ducks are being let off early especially.
Among those being let off early? Employees at Smyths Toys all over Ireland.
The shop is closing a little earlier than usual today so staff can watch the match when it kicks off at 5pm.
Smyths Toys confirmed to DailyEdge.ie that all stores across the country are closing at 5pm and those in the Head Office are being let off early to support the boys in green.
“Approximately 400 staff members across our 21 stores and head office will be heading home early to watch the match,” they told DailyEdge.ie.
And they aren’t the only ones getting into the Euro 2016 spirit…
