Nokia Snake is back, and you will never get anything done again

Snake is coming to smartphones. Rejoice!

REMEMBER THE DAYS when you lost hours to Snake on the green screen of your Nokia 3310?

As technology advanced Nokia tried to make Snake get with the times, but nothing was really the same as the horrendously addictive original.

But there’s good news for everyone who has (unwillingly) moved on from the 3310 – Snake will finally be available for smartphones from next week.

Snake Rewind was developed by the same guy who made the original game, Taneli Armanto, and keeps the retro style of the old one.

But there are a few tweaks – the new Snake will have ten levels, different types of fruit that give ‘unique powers’ to your snake, and the chance to ‘rewind’ after the snake crashes.

Snake Rewind will be available on iOS, Android and Windows phones from next Thursday. Race you to the App Store!
