Snapchat filters as Gaeilge could be on the way very soon
WE ALL LOVE a good location filter on Snapchat. Sure why would we ever go on city breaks if not to brag via a good Paris logo?
We’re you even in The Square if your Snapstory wasn’t adorned with a TALLAGHT logo?
Conradh na Gaeilge have just launched a competition to create Irish language filters for each county, having had discussions with Snapchat who are “open to them”.
Per capita we use Snapchat more than any other country, so it only makes sense we get some filters in our native tongue.
You can apply with your Geofilter here, but you better make it savage.
The best filters will be used to represent each county, with Orlaith Nic Ghearailt of Conradh na Gaeilge saying:
