LAST YEAR, SEAN White’s house in Palmerstown won national acclaim thanks to the heroic effort he puts into his Christmas lights – and all in the name of charity.
It’s become something of a local attraction – and watching the White family turn on the lights is now a neighbourhood tradition. Sean raises the money for Dylan, a little boy with cerebral palsy who lives in the area, and his daughter Shauna tells DailyEdge.ie that last year’s total came to €1700.
She also says that this year he’s brought in a snow machine – and it’s really added to the Christmassy setting
Wonderful.
Shauna says:
We urge anyone that visits to come say hello and see our Grinch projector in the window and additional snow machine this year!! If you can spare any few coins from the end of your purse or wallet when you visit, we would greatly appreciate it for Dylan and his family.
The queues have been winding out the front gate since the lights were turned on
It’s not just the outside that’s done up, people love seeing the decorations inside the house too
A winter wonderland in Palmerstown – all for a good cause
Great work.
