LISTEN, YOU ALL put in a lot of effort and gave it a good shot with your really great snowmen, but you’ve just been beaten.
Meet, the snownun
The sisters at Poor Clares in Galway decided to get out and make the most of the past few days of Irish snow, and they made a surprisingly great snownun in the process.
Their creation is going super viral on Facebook, with people loving their efforts.
She’s called Sr Frosty of course, and can be seen praying with some rosary beads
Sr Frosty has garnered thousands of likes on Facebook, and plenty of kudos. Their earlier efforts weren’t bad either.
The nuns have also been enjoying snowball fights
And even had an impromptu little snow photoshoot together
The brand describe themselves as an ‘enclosed contemplative community of Poor Clare sisters whose monastery is in Nuns’ Island, Galway, Ireland’.
Our vowed life of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience is lived in Enclosure.
They make bread in the monastery, but live a life mostly dedicated to God, quiet, and happiness.
Well done, sisters!
