This Dublin girl got a Chinese to cater her 21st with spice bags for all her guests

What an idea.

THE PLATTERS YOU usually find at 21st are predictable enough – containing a pile of cocktail sausages, a few wedges and some chicken.

So when one girl had her 21st in Dublin last night, she did the food a little differently:

She got a local Chinese to cater her 21st with just spice bags

No boring platters here.

Nichola Butterly tells DailyEdge.ie that the Chinese in question was The Lef in Skerries – and they went down a treat:

I got 22 spice bags but my mam gave the Chinese little cardboard containers to put the spice bags in, cost around €130 and it fed about 50 people. It went down really well with everyone!

Feeding the troops with spice bags at an event is a novel idea that could surely take off

She posted her experiment to the Spice Bag Appreciation Facebook page, where it’s been met with the praise that it certainly deserves.

This is a creative solution to the problem of bland 21st food.

*applause*
