The Spice Girls are heading to Croker next summer, 21 years after their last Irish gig

THIS IS TOO MUCH.

BIZARRE AND ALL as it sounds, up until this morning it was unclear whether The Spice Girls would be including Ireland in their reunion tour, but thankfully the news we were all waiting for has been delivered.

The band will be taking to the stage in Croke Park next May, 21 years after their last Irish gig.

On Friday May 24 2019, Geri, Emma, Mel B and Mel C – Vic, please change your mind and join them  – will become the first girl group to headline Croke Park.

Commenting on their highly-anticipated reunion, they said

We are beyond excited to be reuniting next year for a stadium tour! Bringing girl power and our message of friendship and love back to the stage feels more relevant than ever.

“We hope everyone can join us for one big Spice Girls party,” they added.

With tickets for all their UK dates selling out in no time, Ticketmaster’s UK MD, Andrew Parsons said:

Demand for Spice Girls was off the chart. They have smashed through Ticketmaster UK’s records becoming the busiest ever sale.

Tickets for their Dublin date will go on sale next Thursday November 22nd at 9am.
