SPICE WORLD IS 20 years old this year. Yes, it’s been 20 years since the golden days of the Spice Girls,
When it was released in 1997, Spice World was a massive box office success, but panned by the critics. We’d like to revise that now, because it’s actually a masterpiece.
1. Some might say that the film was a pointless money-making vehicle, but they’re incorrect

On the surface, it looks like a film about the Spice Girls having zany adventures on a tour bus. But actually, it’s about friendship, the dark side of fame, motherhood, fashion, and of course, the possibility of alien life on other planets.
There’s even a comment on the gossip press with a Richard Murdoch-esque character called Kevin McMaxford (played by a de-wigged Dame Edna Everage).
