Little Mittens was found at the side of the road, carefree_dude explains

He likely got hit by a car, and suffered major head trauma. She took him home. He couldn’t eat, drink, walk, or really do anything. We were eventually able to get him to drink via a syringe.
We reached out to a wildlife rehabilitater, who gave us some medicine to give him to help with the head trauma. Now, after 6 days on the medicine, He’s doing a lot better. He’s able to hold food on his own. He still needs help drinking.

Little Mittens was very fragile, keeping his head to one side and he had trouble walking. The couple decided to keep him.

Mittens’ new owner told the Daily Dot that he’s just one of many animals in the house, as he owns a dog, four cats, 14 chickens, and a turtle.

Over Christmas, Mittens has started living in the couple’s Christmas tree. The Redditor, named Chris, said he’s tempted to leave it up all year round due to the level of comfort it gives the little guy.
