The new St Moriz fake tan in Penneys appears to be turning people green
FACE IT – WE’VE all suffered our fair share of fake tan fails.
Maybe you didn’t pay enough attention applying it your hands. Maybe you decided to try a new bottle of something you saw on offer. Maybe you didn’t leave enough time between exfoliating and shaving. Honestly, the opportunities to fuck it up are endless.
A couple of people thought they were safe trying St. Moriz’s new Ultra Dark mousse might leaving looking like the bronzed goddess they desired to be.
Irish MUA Karla K trialled the tan on her Instagram Story, saying it left her “speckled”, “rotten” and “green-tinged”.

She decided to try washing some of it off, in an attempt at damage-control, only to find that the majority of the colour came off entirely.
However, she find that it clung to her dry patches and stretch marks. Nu-uh honey!

Not ideal now. On the bright side, her bed sheets remained white and virtuous – probably, as Karla herself observed, because the tan was sticking to her instead.
Listen, it could’ve been worse – some gal in the UK turned Shrek green from applying the stuff. (Seriously, this needs to be seen to be believed).
