THERE’S BEEN A lot of chatter recently about digital influencers overly editing their photos.
Image doctoring and Photoshopping isn’t a new practice, having been around for as long as magazines have existed and perfection has been strived for.
But as men and women are exposed to these images at younger and younger ages, people continue to be deceived by image wizardry, and feel under pressure to look like something that doesn’t exist without a blur tool.
Enter, Stacey Solomon.
The mother of three took to her Facebook to highlight the level of editing her own photos had undergone for an editorial shoot.

She captioned the post:
This is how scary airbrushing can be … just remember when you’re looking at someone’s post or in a mag or poster you might not be looking at real life images!”
The photos were taken as part of a shoot with OK! Magazine, to highlight “how dangerous this kind of body morphing is”.
She finished off by saying:
Love yourself because you’re perfect.”
Pretty sound advice, tbh.
