STAR WARS FEVER has taken hold all around Ireland over the last few weeks, but the saga’s spiritual home is still County Kerry.
So yesterday, video production company PAC Web TV based in Tralee celebrated by creating their own Kerry version of Star Wars featuring all the movies shot in their picturesque county:

And they pieced together a plot featuring every Kerry-shot movie ever
From Star Wars itself
To Tom Cruise in Far and Away
They, of course, had to include Skellig Michael
And Harry Potter, obviously
As they explained on their website, it was just a way to show off all the wonderful movies shot in the county:
Kerry and the surrounding area have been used to shoot many films over the years. The Islandman, Most Important, The Dawn, Playboy of the Western World, The Lobster, Ryan’s Daughter, Excalibur, Far & Away, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, The Force Awakens to name a few.
And have a bit of craic:
The Star Wars crew are again shooting the next movie in the saga in Kerry at the moment. We used a few clips from a few of these movies to put this parody together….because we were bored.
As good a reason as any to show off County Kerry’s Hollywood history <3
