USUALLY YOU’D SAY it was a mad week in US politics, but it’s pretty much become par for the course at this stage.
Yesterday, President Trump said that he met with the President of the Virgin Islands – even though that’s… him.
While Trump’s Twitter account is arguably the most influential in the world, Stephen Fry’s is fairly high on that list too – with nearly 13 million followers. So, when he tweets something interesting, a lot of people pay attention.
Yesterday afternoon, he shared a viral compilation of every time Trump has claimed that nobody does something better than him.
“I have nothing to add” Fry said

The original – from earlier this year – was made by Vice News. And Fry’s share has put it all over Twitter again
It might be low hanging fruit, but seeing all the claims in one place consecutively paints a powerful picture – and highlights quite a pattern.
Some of the claims are beyond just incorrect, they’re laughable:
“There’s nobody that’s done so much for equality as I have”
It was a stark reminder to many of who sits in the White House
It’s not an easy watch by any means
You could, ironically, say with some justification that nobody in the world does ridiculous boasting better than Trump?
Boasting is now back on the agenda, so everyone is going to be watching out for it during the next few speeches.
What world class talent will be revealed next? The world waits.
