MAKING A MURDERER’S Steven Avery is behind bars for the killing of Teresa Halbach in 2005.
He maintains his innocence, and many of those who’ve watched his story on the Netflix documentary series are behind him.
His new lawyer Katheleen Zellner has shared a personal note he’s written to his supporters:

Zellner has said that she believes that advances in forensic testing will be the key to exonerating Avery, telling ABC that there “was a lot of evidence that wasn’t tested”.
