ARIZONA MAN JESUS Sanches Llovera is suing Steven Seagal for his part in a raid carried out by the local Sheriff’s office to apprehend those behind an illegal cockfighting farm.
Jesus claims humiliation, emotional distress and property damage after Maricopa County law enforcement brought Seagal along for the raid, which was being filmed for reality show ‘Steven Seagal Lawman’.
Seagal – backed by the county’s tactical operations unit, and dressed in full riot gear - arrived at the property, in a tank, and drove through the gate, before storming the house, The Daily Beast reports.
But worst of all, homeowner Jesus claims his 11-month old puppy was shot and killed during the raid, along with 100 roosters belonging to him.
According to TMZ, Mr Llovera, who is suspected of involvement in cock-fighting, says he kept his 100 roosters purely for show.
Seagal is now being chased for $100,000 dollars in damages, and a formal apology for the death of a beloved family pet.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s detectives could face a bill of €25,000 for the same incident.
