'Dublin has a special place in my heart': Stormzy wore the tricolour and gave it socks on stage at Longitude
THERE WAS NO doubting that Stormzy was the act people wanted to see at Longitude in Marley Park last night – and he certainly gave them a show.
Earlier in the day, he had let everyone know how special the Dublin crowd is to him, having previously tweeted out his love for the famous Smithfield mural:
And by all accounts, the gig last night was worth the headline appearance
Longitude Longitude
It might be his first time headlining a festival, but it won’t be his last.
As is standard, someone threw the Irish flag up on stage for Stormzy to wear – and you could tell he was absolutely loving it
Hopefully after his reception last night, Dublin and Ireland will maintain that special place in his heart
He killed it on a jam-packed first night at Longitude
“More Stormzy, please” – Ireland

Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
There were, predictably, scenes throughout
Welcome back any time, Stormzy
The gauntlet has been well and truly thrown down for the rest of Longitude.
Some weekend ahead.
