The show, will be named like the US version, Dancing with the Stars, will see 11 well-known celebrities paired with professional ballroom dancers, competing each week with choreographed routines.

The show will be produced by Shinawil, but we’ll have to wait until early 2017 to see it.

Bad news for fans of The Voice though, the show will be replacing the musical talent show.

Now, the important question, who will take part?

Our money is on:

  • A misc member of Westlife
  • Marty Morrissey
  • A former Rose of Tralee
  • Linda Martin – to Get Lucky
  • Twink
  • The Crystal Swing mam
  • Anne Doyle
  • Someone you have literally never heard of

Any other guesses?

One thing’s for sure, we can’t bleeeedin’ wait.
