WOMEN ALL OVER Ireland have gathered to Strike 4 Repeal.
Marches have been taking place in every corner of Ireland, with the Dublin strike bringing O’Connell Bridge to a complete standstill with the turnout.
The strike began the picket at the Department of Justice at 10.30am
Before making it’s way to the Department of the Taoiseach, and the Department of Health, before finally gathering at O’Connell Bridge at 12.30pm
The bridge is completely blocked by the strike
And it’s just getting bigger
Further marches have been taking place in the likes of Sligo, Meath, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, and Kerry
And students in colleges all over the country also walked out of lectures at 12pm to show their solidarity with the Repeal the 8th movement on International Women’s Day
Musician Hozier was even spotted showing his support in Dublin
Further strikes are taking place across the sea, with groups in Oxford showing their solidarity
Back in Dublin though, the city is definitely stopping to listen
