Someone got stuck in a Waterford public toilet and had to be freed by firefighters
The scene in Waterford last night Glenn Sheridan Glenn Sheridan
A PERSON got trapped in a public toilet in Waterford city centre last night, and had to be freed by firefighters with a ladder.
Emergency services were called to the toilet on the Quay – which has an automatic locking system – at around 6pm after someone got locked inside and couldn’t get out.
The fire crew managed to free the poor trapped person, after what is understood to have been a quick procedure to release the lock.
There were no injuries. Except, perhaps, to the person’s pride:
Whoops!
