This woman ordered spring flowers and the supermarket sent spring onions instead

The scourge of the substituted item.

ONLINE SHOPPING HAS its obvious benefits – but when the supermarket decides to substitute an item because they don’t have it in stock, things can get messy.

Like when this Irish woman ordered Sainsbury’s ‘Spring show’ flowers this week, but they didn’t have them in stock

So, they helpfully substituted some spring onions in there for her

So many potential mishaps

Everything worked out in the end for Suzanne though, which tends to happen when the original mistake gets noticed all over the world

Let’s hope she put the spring onion to good use as well.
