Surrey Roads Police's tweets give Garda Traffic a run for their money
IT LOOKS LIKE @GardaTraffic aren’t the only police officers taking Twitter by storm.
The Irish Traffic Corps are known for their lively and amusing tweets but it seems as though there’s a new kid on the block and they’re causing quite a stir across the Irish Sea.
@SurreyRoadCops has been turning heads with some rather amusing updates about what the public are getting up to on the highways and byways.
They shared this tale of an unfortunate taxi driver just last week.
Followed by this gem about the team behind the account.
And then there was this very public warning.
Sargeant JP Davis contacted DailyEdge.ie to highlight one more offering: A rather curious snap of a cow resting comfortable on a car bonnet.
We’re sure @GardaTraffic can trump that one in no time.
Here’s hoping the Twitter beat is big enough for the both of them.
