Sylvester Stallone quits Twitter after argument with Bruce Willis

He’s decided to back away from social media because he only gets himself into trouble.

POOR AULD SYLVESTER Stallone has had to take himself off Twitter because he kept getting himself into trouble.

He spoke about the decision while promoting his new film The Grudge Match this week, saying,

Everytime I use social media I really get in trouble.I think George Clooney says it best. You’ve got to be an idiot if you use Twitter and you wake up in the morning sober and you realise your career is over. You’ve got to be really really careful you dont think you’re a genius up there in the middle of the night.

Whatever could be be referring to?  Well, probably the trouble he got into after tweeting delightedly about Bruce Willis being replaced by Harrison Ford in the Expendables franchise last August.

Whoops.

Stallone’s account is still open, but he hasn’t tweeted since October, and clearly he’s not planning to any time soon.
