What's in my makeup bag? Tara Stewart
Each week, we’ll be taking a peek into some of our faves’ makeup bags to see their must-have products, because we’re nosey. This week, it’s the turn of radio presenter, DJ and music journalist Tara Stewart.
Her earliest makeup memories
“In high school I never really wore makeup at all, as much as I wanted to my parents didn’t let me *cries*. I did use those little butterfly shaped makeup pallets, when I could on the sly.
“But when I say makeup I mean little compartments of jelly that had no pigment! However they were good for a little bit of glitter to add to a 13-year old’s glam life.
“As much as I love wearing makeup, I’m so impatient with putting it on and learning the craft. I’ts times like these I wish I was a Kardashian and had a full time makeup artist.
“However by the tender age of 27 I have found my signature look and I know what suits me … I think!”

What’s inside?
“Going through all my stuff I’ve just realised its mostly Rimmel! So I’d like to point out that this is not sponsored.”
“I love wearing this Rimmel Stay Matte lippy in the shade 500 with casual street wear and trainers to just make it a little bit spicy *nails emoji*.”
“Even though this costs €20, MAC Whirl lipstick lasts me so long even though I wear it everyday!”
“Rimmel Skin Perfecting Full Coverage Foundation in 303 True Nude was recommended to me by a friend and it’s so good, I honestly only ever wear foundation when I’m going out at night or I have a TV thing. I just lob it on with my fingers and it just sits so well on my skin and its not expensive!”
“The Master Eye Pallet from Penneys has 9 shades of browns, nudes and black and it’s honestly so so good. The pigment is unreal and it lasts ages. For someone like me that isn’t a wiz at applying makeup its so handy and easy to use.”
“Even though my hair is black I find I prefer to brush in a brown pencil like the Rimmel Eye Pencil because black pencil just looks to harsh on my brows, and it kinda looks like I just drew on my brows with a felt pen.”
“Lastly, my Rimmel Volume Flash mascara is a really good one and doesn’t get cloggy!”
